Slantt is a small jewelry line designed by Jennifer Rodgers in her home studio in Austin, TX. Guided by a modern and organic sensibility, her jewelry is designed to be distinct while speaking to the individuality of the wearer. Interaction, form, and process are the designer's focus, and the line continues to evolve while remaining close to the core ideals of modernism and the careful practice of a small studio. All work is designed and made by hand in Jennifer's studio with an emphasis on craftsmanship and artistry.
Slantt is committed to ethical design practices, so jewelry production, procurement of materials, and sustainable studio practices are guided by this commitment. 100% recycled metals are used whenever possible, and all materials are manufactured and sourced through ethically responsible vendors in the USA. Our work is made by hand in our studio. Elements of a few of our pieces are cast from wax models hand-carved by the designer. These elements are created through the lost wax casting process by independent artisans based in the southwestern USA. All cast elements are completely finished and assembled in our studio.
