Slantt is a small sculptural line of jewelry designed and handmade by Jennifer Rodgers in her studio in Austin, Texas.

Slantt jewelry is modern and distinct, designed with an intention to create pieces that are timeless. Architecture, sculpture, objects, textiles, and natural forms serve as inspiration behind the design.

Remaining true to the careful practice of a small studio, all work is fabricated and finished by hand using traditional metalsmithing techniques with an emphasis on craftsmanship and artistry. Slight imperfections and variations are embraced as evidence of a handcrafted practice.

Founded in 2013, Slantt began with a small collection of sculptural wood jewelry carved by hand. Its evolution in material and technique is guided by a focus on process, abstraction, and an experimentation of shape and line.

Jennifer is a self-taught jewelry metalsmith with a background that includes studies in product design and in the fine arts. Her sculptural approach to jewelry design stems from her early interest and playful experimentation in hand-built objects.

Slantt is committed to ethical & environmentally low impact and sustainable design practices. Jewelry production, procurement of materials, and sustainable studio practices are guided by this commitment. Recycled metals are used whenever possible, and all materials are manufactured and sourced through ethically responsible vendors based in the USA. To produce metal castings from our hand-carved wax models, we work with independent skilled artisans based in New York City & New Mexico.

Every order is wrapped and shipped in eco-friendly packaging materials utilizing 100% post industrial recycled fiber tissue and 100% recycled cardboard jewelry box packed with 100% post-consumer fiber.
